Shea butter is well known for its cosmetic properties as a moisturizer and emollient. Shea butter absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. It can be bought on line. Lady's Mantle Hand Lotion Recipe Essential Oils Hand Recipe #3 Ingredients:10 drops essential oil of rose or geranium2 Tbsp glycerin 2 Tbsp of a strong infusion of lady's mantle2 tsp carrageen moss (Irish Moss) melted in a little hot water3-4 Tbsp vodkaStir the glycerin into the melted moss. Now slowly add the essential oil to the vodka, then blend into the glycerin mixture. Gradually mix in lady's mantle infusion, blend well. Pour into a glass jar, keep tightly capped. Always shake well before using.
